I smelt dust in here. Ha ha it's been centuries since I last updated!
Life has been fruitful, tiring and sometimes emo for me.

Went for pre-camp yesterday. Don't know why but I just feel that something is amiss. The mood is just not there. Feeling rather sian. I guess I'm missing camp insinyur!

Will be going for hall 6 camp from tomorrow till 21st aug. 6 days 5 nights. Damn long. Cui. Where the hell am I going to find a ragged long-sleeved shirt and one pair of old sports shoes? I don't even have that. Still haven't pack my stuffs...

Anyway going to camp is a very good way for me to lost weight. So I should be happier, hahaha!

Gym-ed with CM this morning. I guess we're really getting old. Ha ha, so much of exhaustion! But still, I feel refreshed after exercising. At least we feel healthier in a way... Hee hee. After gym, we headed to some coffee shop nearby to have our lunch. Calories gained again! Had western food. It's kind of similar to Aston(s?) but have yet to meet the standard. No matter what, it was a good time catching up with her! (=

I actually went to sing K with people whom I have only knew for 1 week plus. Ha ha, this is so unlike me. But still, I enjoyed the KBox session with them! (: It was good bcos I get to sing all those emo songs again.

Received the admission letter from NTU today. On the way home from work, I was still telling CM that I don't seem to stand a chance in getting a place in university. Then, the moment I stepped into my doorstep, I received the news that I'm being offered a place in NTU! Everything seems like a dream to me, so unrealistic!! But this time round, it's for real. Oh my goddddd, I couldn't believe it. :D

Shared the news with my family members and friends bcos I'm really very very happy & would want to share the happiness with them! Didn't know I'd come so far. Hee hee.

Hmm, however, I would definitely make careful considerations before making up my mind. Shall see how it goes. (:

1st Day of Work

Today is the first day of work. Being a track judger can be quite stressful at times bcos of decision makings but overall I think we're way luckier than some others bcos most of the time we still can sit down under the shade. To be sick on the 1st day of work really sucks man. The weather is like worsening my condition (so sunny!). Thought I can hang on till the end of the day but eventually I still applied half day leave to go and see doctor. Feels bad towards the management & team bcos of the last minute notice. Sorry to CM bcos I ps her. Sorry to HM too for postponing the dinner.

After eating medicine, I'm feeling a little better but still quite drowsy. I even took the wrong side of the train when I was heading home. So blur of me. ):

A very sensitive topic CM & I raised today.
Friends. ORDINARY, GOOD, CLOSE & BEST.

Frankly speaking, sometimes I really doubt my understandings toward the real meanings behind those terms. When in doubt, I will just sit down, think about it and sort out my thoughts.
Regardless of what kind of relationships, be it friendship, kinship or B/G r/s, in order to sustain it, I believe EFFORT plays a very significant role in it.

No pain, no gain. No effort, no outcome. This is what I feel abt r/s.

I know individuals have different opinions toward this topic but I believe there is something in common. And this thing would be called "xin". Direct translation would be "heart".
How many percentage of your "heart" have you actually contributed or are willing to contribute to the other party?
Personally I think this is the main element that will lead to a r/s that is well-maintained.

To end this post, I would say... if you can, do save a r/s before it's too late. If not, you're gonna regret like me.

With CM's company, I managed to get a dress & a pair of heels for my graduation night. Hee, she actually endured with my naggings bcos I thought I was going to go home empty-handed. When I was about to lose hope, she encouraged me and yes I really found the dress! Ha ha, sounds like some very serious issue hoh? But no matter what, thank you you, my best shopping buddy! =)

Again, it's another shopping experience that we have gained something out of the day. Good job to the both of us!

This is so unlike me. I managed to complete my IAP final report within one day. I started this morning and so called finished it just a moment ago. All I have to do is to polish it abit and everything will be considered done [excluding ppt slides of course, ha ha]. Have just sent to my supervisor for endorsement. I hope she won't get a shock out of it because I think ... it's rather draggy :/ But no choice, how interesting can a report be? Especially when it is kinda long....................... as long as a __________. Fill in the blank yourself because I don't know what to fill in either. Hee hee.

Btw, talking about the word "interesting", it reminds me of my colleague. She told me a funny story of hers when she was doing co-calling. This is how the conversation goes:

Her: Hi gd afternoon, I'm calling from XXX. My company actually provides security management services to ...... Can I speak to your boss?
Potential customer: Err, wait ah, I ask my boss.
Her: Alright... [Waiting, holding to her phone]
Potential customer: [Comes back with the reply] Sorry, my boss said he is not interesting.
Her: Oh okay, thanks, bye... [Wanted to giggle but controlled herself & thought to herself, "how interesting can your boss be??"]

Hee, the end of the story...

Initially I thought I would be a happier person if attachment ends. But ever since it has ended, I've been feeling so gloomy. Finally after today, I feel a little happier because more or less I have completed the stressful report and I'm quite productive in a sense. Wanna thank all my friends who have shown concerns :D Just to let your know, I'm feeling better already.

Prolonged problem: Strained my neck and shoulders and now I'm feeling the pain AGAIN. This is bad ):

Lunch

Lunched with the CEO, Director & Marketing Manager @ the American Club's Liberty Lounge. Initially I had a lunch date with my Marketing Manager only. But no choice, the big boss last minute asked my manager out for lunch too and so he asked me to tag along. Was feeling rather uncomfortable throughout the lunch. Bcos you know you know... he's the big boss man. Ha ha. Although quite uncomfortable but I think he's a nice person. Can see that they tried to engage me into their conversations, which I really appreciate.
Anyway, the food is good and expensive! I had the monkfish wrapped with bacon. :)
It was an experience for me bcos I didn't have the chance to go such places and it was my first time being there. Hee hee.

I think... it's love at first sight? Have got the urge to get his no. !

Anyway, yesterday went to buy grandparents' gifts. Bought a belt for grandfather and a blouse for grandmother. Hope both of them will like the gifts esp. grandmother. Didn't get to see her before she returned to China bcos I was in Wuhan. Regretted not telling her how I was feeling at that point of time. Wanted to tell her to take good care of herself. Wanted to tell her to come to S'pore & stay with us again. Wanted to tell her how much I miss her and couldn't bear to let her go. Wanted to tell her I have got so much things to say to her.

As for grandfather, he'll be going back to China this coming Sunday. I don't know how I will react on that day. Although he's naggy and stubborn at times, but one thing for sure is that, I would want him to stay with us again. Looking at his back, I really feel guilty for not being able to help him with the housechores and all. I'm lazy also lah. Ha ha. And looking at his back, I can also see that he have aged. I hope all goes well for him when he's in China.

1) Failed connection. Don't know is it our phones' problem or Singtel's problem. Realized the importance of handphones! I really panicked when we couldn't contact each other. Feel that time passed rather fast today. Can't really remember what I did for the whole day but I just feel so. Ha ha. Rochelle brought me to her sis's beauty salon after work. I did facial and she paid for me! Kinda surprised! After which, headed to her house to help her out with her blogshop. Was just teaching her on some of the basic things. She also showed me her bags that were shipped fromt the United States. I like one of the Kate Spade bags! It's a black one with a huge ribbon. So sweet but so expensive! :/

It's been long since I created a proper post for my blog.
Life has been rather lifeless for me and that's why I have nothing much to blog also.
Attachment is only left with 3 weeks. Frankly speaking, I have this very contradictory feeling in me. I hope attachment will end faster but at the same time hope time will slow down. I can't really see the path in front of me. Blurred vision.

Whenever people ask me what do I want to do after graduation, I just told them in a very uncertain tone that I would like to further my studies. To me, BPQE is quite a "rojak" course. So I'm also not very sure of what I want for myself. Actually I did considered few courses but after knowing that it is not easy to get in, I lose confidence in myself.
Time is running short. I'm so vexed!

Right now, I have four weekly reports incomplete. No motivation at all. The fact is that, I didn't learn much during work and thus I have got nothing much to write in my reports too. The toughest part of writing a report is when you didn't learn a lot of things but you have to write to a extent that you have experienced and learnt a lot. This is like SO FAKE.

Hey people, here's something to share with your. One of my colleagues intends to start up a small business. She has placed orders on a certain quantity of COACH and KATE SPADE bags from the United States. The reason why it's from U.S. is because, her friend stays there and so she gets to know a reliable supplier. The items will be shipped over to Singapore and estimated time of arrival will be this friday. They will be sold at much reasonable prices [like so much cheaper!]. Hee, I'm just helping her to do a short promotion here as her blog shop is not up yet. My choice

Very soon, I will have to make a choice of my life again.
I hate decision makings. You'll never know whether you have made the right choice. And most probably you'll regret after some time if it's not the right one for you.
I have given up hope on myself many years back. Didn't know I will come so far.
I'm always scared of stepping out of my comfort zone. Now that I'm reaching another stage of my life, it's really worrying for me. I feel uncomfortable having to be immersed in a new environment again.
Sometimes, I will try to find excuses for myself. But this time round, I'm not going to.
I guess I have to be more independent. I can no longer rely on anyone...

Just woke up from a short nap. Heavy head. Dizziness.
Am on a half day medical leave. Went to see the doctor after work because I wasn't feeling well.
Since I got nth much to do in the office thus I decided to apply for the MC.
It's also a good excuse for me to getaway from the office that will bore me to death.

Our attempts to capture the words "FOREVER 21" failed. -.- Damn funny, I had to tip-toe so much like??? LOLStill didn't manage to capture the bigger words. Ha ha. But anyway, the FOREVER 21 at Somerset 313 @ was huge. 4 levels! =) Can't take our eyes off the outfits...

Am so addicted to shopping!

Dined with the rest [MY, Seok, JX, Winson] at Taka's Ajisen. It's been long since I last tasted the Tom Yam Ramen. Love the taste. I headed straight home right after dinner. The "self-taking" photo session was funny. Ha ha. Photos are with MY. Will upload them provided that I got the time and am not lazy. And of course firstly I need to get the photos from her. (:

Town is totally crowded. The lightings are really beautiful. It's such a pity that I forgot to bring my camera!! Before X'mas approaches, I'm gonna find one day and go down to take some pretty photos.

I just realised I have not been blogging for 1 whole week which I find it quite amazing. Ha ha.

Friday, I'm in love

Work was fun because today CS department closed - 1 on leave, the other 1 on MC. Ha ha, so only left me. Then sales department only got Rochelle, the rest all went out. We had an enjoyable time chatting about some stuffs during lunch. Discovered a big secret of hers. I was the 1st to know. I'm glad that she trusted me. Anyway, it was indeed a very interesting & dramatic story. Admired her character & courage and I think she's really humorous. Can translate her story into scripts already. Lol.

Met up with CM for a quick dinner @ Far East. The service was prompt & the steamed chicken rice tasted delicious. :) As usual, we shopped around after that! Ha ha, it's always good to do so. Although didn't manage to buy anything but at least we had a great time catching up.

Had supper with mummy & grandfather @ 304. Ordered hor fun for grandfather. Mummy & I shared san lao hor fun. The food tasted normal. The quantity was too much! I feel so bloated.

Called brother just now. He's now having fun in Taiwan with one of his colleagues. I'm so jealous ): Mummy brought up a random topic of going Philippines for 3 days & 2 nights during X'mas. The main purpose is to visit my biao jie who's working there.
I think it's a rather good idea because I get to stay away from S'pore again. HA HA!
I'm in love with travelling! But it takes both money & time... How good if I'm uber rich?
Anyway, I told her about my post-graduation plan. I even emphasized there will only be 2 of us going & she gave her consent. Hee hee, which means... CM, we must be well-prepared. :]

Heard that he had about 10+ stitches on his head.
Like quite serious. Worried for him. Sigh.

Work is okay nowadays. At times, I will feel pressurized when the Marketing Manager assigns me tasks. I realized she's actually quite fussy towards very trivial matters and is very impatient. She has the final say in things and she won't be bothered to listen to your explanations. No choice, she's the boss what. No wonder her subordinates like it when she's not in the office.
Was kinda surprised that CS is protective of me. They didn't want Sales to bully me. Ha ha. Feels great because at least there are people who care for me in the office.

Am coping well with my braces. I'm regaining my appetite gradually.
Noticed a bit of changes but perhaps I'm just thinking too much?
Today Bably said my face has become sharper. Made me so happy! Ha ha.

Catching up

I feel that I'm very talkative today but mainly because it's a joyous feeling to see so many familiar faces! :D Met up with the dearest [Cas, Ke En & Wee]. Ke En is reall cute!! But she kept crying when she saw us :/ 怕生... Sadded, I only got to carry her for a short few seconds when she's about to go home. Will try to visit her more often to pei yang gan qing. HA HA.

Such a coincidence, happened to see dear Ting, Noris, Qin Bin, Jian Wen, Jason, Chiu Hwa & Ting Hui !! OMG, I'm really exhilarated to see all of them. Causeway Point is like our territory! (: Feels like back to Secondary School life. Too bad Wei didn't join us. Miss all...

Work is busy but somehow I'm already used to it. No matter what, everyday I still look forward to knock-off time. Ha ha! About 2 more months to go! AZA AZA!

Braces up! Light blue color. I have already asked for the least obvious one. Hmm, MENG IS A HAPPY GIRL! :) I'm relieved that there is not so much of pain during the process of putting it on. Dr Wong was being very meticulous. Don't know whether following days will be painful. But I'm starting to feel so now.

Have been eating porridge & soup stuff since yesterday till now. Sick of the taste and I'll get hungry easily. But it's okay, I find it all worthwhile! :)

Bo-gaysssssss

Cousin & I both bo-gay already! Ha ha, such a coincidence, today her front tooth dropped. Actually not drop la, is I helped her removed. LOL! She only wants me to help her. For me, I extracted 3 teeth in total. 2 upper & 1 at lower front. Can't really see the upper ones from the photo.

Mine! Doctor gave me double doze of antiseptic... feels really numb so I didn't feel much of the pain. PHEW. But was really scared when I first entered the consultation room. Anyway, the overall experience is much better than what I expected. Ha ha. Sigh of relief! The next thing I have to overcome will be the putting on of braces on Monday!! Hee hee. Looking forward to :]

Delifrance cookies from brother's SIRs. He had to cover duties for his seniors during the APEC period. So this is like a small token of appreciation from them. The cookies were delicious! :D

Knowing that starting from tomorrow onwards I won't be able to enjoy good food and thus I have been eating non-stop today. Ha ha! I know I have to stop because I'm gaining weight! ): Perhaps wearing braces is a good thing for me as I can make use of the chance to slim down.

Extraction will be in the morning!! So scared & nervous~~ :/

Btw, I finally submitted my interim report today. Ha ha, it's like so last minute. But my ppt is still incomplete. Don't know when I can complete it. No mood to do...

Went for dental appointment yesterday. Basically, another doctor cleaned my teeth. Then, Dr Wong checked and explained to me about my condition. He said mine is a bit tricky. Will be extracting 3 teeth! The worst thing is... he's gonna extract one of the front teeth on my lower jaw. I'm gonna look real ugly. OMG T.T But he has got his reason for doing that. So... I agreed to have that removed. Sobs.
The X-rays also showed that I have got 2 wisdom growing already! Yeah and I really saw. No matter what, I will have to extract my wisdom teeth when they grow out. That's what the doctor said. :/
So, appointment for extraction will be on this saturday... I think I'll be extracting all 3 on that day.
Seriously... I'm very scared!! )=
